    Hi,

I am searching for a postgrad in Ireland which focuses on the following skills:
    • Data warehousing
    • Data mining
    • Business intelligence
    • Web development
I have a background in Business and all of the conversion courses I have seen tend to focus on more advanced programming skills than appeal to me.

    Hi,

I have just finished a part time masters in BI and data mining at ITB.

    http://www.itb.ie/StudyatITB/bn518BID.html

It was a fanastic course and I rank it above the BSC MSC that I already have in computing.

It does not cover data warehousing (DWH) per se but we do work with MySQL, Vectorwise and POSGIS databases. Furthermore, in the projects you are free to use DWH for your own learning. Actually, alot of the students in the class (including myself) came from a DWH background.

    The modules are:

    Year 1 Semester 1
    Business Intelligence
    Data Mining Algorithms

    Year 1 Semester 2
    Data Pre-processing & Exploration (i.e. data mining)
Business Intelligence & Data Mining Applications (i.e. data mining project)

    Year 2 Semester 3
Text Mining & Web Content Mining (Elective)
    Geographical Information Systems Mining (Elective)
    Multimedia Mining (Elective)

Students complete two of the three elective modules.

    Year 2 Semester 4
MSc Research Project which can be industry based.
