Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Garda Background Check

    Hi,

I'm heading to South East Asia soon to teach english and was just wondering how I go about getting background-check documents sorted before I go?

It hasn't been requested of me to get this done but I want to bring some certified docs just to have with me as I'm not not 100% sure where I'm going to stop off at. I'm sure having them can only be a plus as opposed to a minus...

Do I just walk into my local Garda station or do I have to post any application forms to anywhere? Thanks in advance y'all :D

    J

Make a letter out to your local superintendent and drop it onto your local garda station.

I made a copy of my passport picture page with all my details on it and give a list of everywhere you have lived in Ireland.

It should be back in about a week or two.
