Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This needs to be put on perspective, not only have Bayern been very clinical but they are one of the major favourites for the tournament. They are walking the league domestically. Expectations need to be adjusted and their support need to actually support, not boo them.

Gareth Southgate on Bayern pre-match: "There’s no one there that you think wow he could rip us apart on their own" I mean do they pay him or does he just turn up and they give him a run out?
I don't think that is an entirely inaccurate statement. Bayern's main quality is that the standard doesn't seem to dip anywhere in the team.

And Blackburn? I suppose they have a shot at the play-offs, and Bradford have a shot at the League Cup. Most of the players have been pathetic for most of the season, they don't need an arm around them, they need to be ****ed out the door.

True, but Ribery could rip apart most teams, he just doesn't have to in this team.

Can someone tell wenger to put someone on lahm ?

7 million a year for this crap.

Poor Ramsey is completely out of his depth. Two touches, two give-aways so far in this half.

Always a pleasure to watch philip lahm playing

Why the f**k does he get a contract worth so much despite not winning anything in years? He is living off past achievements.

10 - After 47 minutes of this match, Bayern Munich passed the 10 hour mark since last conceding a competitive away goal. Solid.

    Impressive

Ha just as I posted that

wtf!!..that was worse than any arsenal defending!.....letting the ball bounce like that is criminal

Terrible defending, but disgraceful decision to give a corner.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

That's a rare mistake at the back from Bayern. Arsenal really needed that.

great, an error punished. Neuer is nuts at the 2 corners so far

Wasn't a corner. It might liven the game up, however.

wow now that is horrific defending (and indecision by Neuer). how can the ball bounce there and podolski get a free header....

Horrific decision to give the corner too, couldn't have more clearly hit the Arsenal lad.... Bayern player was about 5 yards away!

    Very poor defending from BM

Michael Mancienne accused Ribery of not tracking back in a paper today, he has been on Sagna like he is an underage prostitute tonight.

    lolz

Referee and Neur saves Arsenal somewhat.

Podolski gets 2 bits of luck :P

Ball hits him and he gets the Corner and then he gets the easiest of finishes.

Undeserved but I hope they get a second. Would make the tie a lot more exciting.

Ref feels sorry for Arsenal, getting all the decisions.

Was it a free kick? I wasn't paying attention but he seemed to have a lot of space to put in the cross.

It looked like a corner to me. It hit an Arsenal player then a Munich player, from what I could see.

Anyway. Taxi for Neuer. Wtf was he at?!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,428 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

Bit of luck there thank God.
Big man Giroud on now and more high balls in please.

    I see Wenger's plan now....

Make the defence so bad, that is spreads to the opposition :D

What is the actual point of those officials on the goal line if they can't give an input on decisions like a corner?

    Should've been off by now.

No way should that have been a yellow.

He fixed the refs armband earlier so they are needed.

Thought that would be a goal once I saw Szczczcesny gave away the corner for nothing.

Taxi for Czsz. We need a keeper. This guy does not inspire confidence at all.
