With the news today that All 16 Hmv will not reopen where does that leave For the Sales of Dvd/CDs and other related media?

Dublin has a big yet pricey alternative With tower records but What about the rest of the country, Will Online shopping be the future or Will smaller shops up there game such as golden discs or even new ones?

    Any thoughts?

It will have to be online for me as Tower don't stock blu ray at a decent level, golden discs/xtravision are no alternative.

That's the price of doing business in this country. When rents, rates, vat, wages all start coming down prices can come down too. It's a vicious cycle that is going to destroy the retail industry in this country.

CD/DVD Blu-ray - all yesterdays technology in all honesty. Direct distribution is the future. For the odd person in Ballynowhere, with slow broadband, it's online shopping for physical media.
