Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Commentators failure to understand what a goal means in the context of the overall tie is a minor pet peeve of mine.

PSG scored there and Setanta are straight into 'the goal that clinches it for PSG' and 'the goal that makes the task almost impossible for Valencia'.

He rolls back 60 seconds later when he realises that Valencia's task is still what it was 2 minutes ago, to score the second of the two goals they were always going to need.

    PSG have been very poor

The Valencia of a few years ago would have won this and probably the tie overall.

Nonetheless, PSG edge through to the next round.

PSG will need to improve hugely if they're to go any further

    No Ibra, no hope.

I didn't think PSG did too badly, they did what they had to do, Valencia didn't create many real chances.

Ibra does make a huge difference to them though.

Sickened Valencia couldn't win that one. PSG very negative- only scored from two consecutive lucky bounces. Banega should have started- he's a class apart.

Two major annoyances for me during the game:

    1) The PSG goalkeeper Sirigu and his free-kicks. Can anyone explain to me why he kept getting frees out? I couldn't see a single foul committed on him. On one of them he literally tripped himself with nobody near him.

    2) The commentators. I'd say no 5 minutes went by without them shíting on about Beckham. 10 minutes to go, game in the balance, and a big long spiel about Beckham being the Chinese football ambassador. (Also, things like saying Soldado was the obvious choice to take the free-kick, when Tino Costa has taken every scoreable free-kick that I've seen for Valencia this season)

Yeah, I'm in a bad mood now
