I have a pair of Lidl polyester overalls with quilted insulation, unfortunately now, the stitching is falling out, they have been great for outdoors and unheated workshops. Where would I buy these or a similar overall? Any ideas I am freezing!

Get some thermal under clothing. There's no point looking like the state pathologist :D.

Or just get some Hellyhansen longjohns and top to go underneath?

Hal1, thanks, never thought I looked as good as that guy from "Silent Witness". biko, nothing suitable there! The Pontiac, Aldi or Lidl don't mind. Still looking (good).

Get a pair of cotton drill overalls say 300gr/m2 and some thermal underwear. You'll find that will keep you warmer than a quilted coverall. it's all about layers.

A lot of the rally lads use the waterproof boiler suits. Great when out in the cold with it snowing.

About €100 tho but worth every penny

gramar, thanks for the advice but I am not always working outdoors, I would then be too warm when indoors. The overalls can be taken off - difficult with thermal underwear!
