    Hi,

Im getting random .exe messages on my machine. running win xp 32 bit. The exe errors are not specific. its not related to any applications that i can see. i havent installed anything any software in over 2 months and when you close the .exe it just generates a new one.
    Any ideas?

sc.exe is the mail generated but its not explicitly that

SC.exe is a Windows application that communicates with the Service Controller and installed services - if you don't have admin rights, I would ask IT for assistance in seeing what's causing this as we can't advise you on any system changes since you don't have the permissions.

You think theres any reason for it to fail?

Could be a hardware conflict, could be a service that doesn't have full permissions to run or could be something minute - no way of telling for sure but by default, sc.exe does not run on startup so something is using it.
