    Hi I was getting a quote for insurance from a certain insurance company. All was going well until he asked did i ever have my licience indorced and i mentioned an Indorsement I got 36years ago on a privisional licience before i even done my driving test.The minuite i mentioned this he wouldnt even quote me .I couldnt beleive it. Should I say nothing in future or would i be breaking the law

    Breaking the law! Its a material fact in insurers books and most ask the question in an open-ended manner. i.e. claims - how many have you had in the last 5 years; convictions - have you ever been prosecuted for any motoring offence.

    Plus if you had a claim it would come to light and the policy would be voided.
