sterling and downing offering very little for us and we have no outlets - zenit have better attacking players than us, we'll do well to get a bore 0-0 draw here and i'd still fancy them to score at anfield - sorry for the pessimism

henderson and allen, workmanlike and game but may not have the quality required in this kind of company, we can't always be relying on suarez and gerrard - without sturridge and coutinho our chances of winning the competition are quite slim anyway but it's all we have left
