we've had 2 great chances but haven't played that well overall - in terms of the the players on the pitch, i think their first eleven is better on paper but the pitch is crap and they haven't played a competitive game in a while, this tie is a lottery

Took us a while to get to grips with them, especially in midfield. Suarez has had 3 great chances.

Suarez has been **** again.

I'd imagine that he's just knackered. He put in a huge shift against City and Arsenal and has looked seriously off the pace tonight and against WBA.

No doubt that Sturridge would improve things but we'll have to be content with him only playing league games.

It'll take a huge slice of luck on defence (as it has in this match so far) for us to progress through this competition. We don't have sufficient firepower or the defensive solidity to get anywhere in this competition without astronomically unlikely amounts of luck.
