Gaming pc budget

I'm a noob with computers and I've realised on how much good games I'm missing out on compared to my Xbox 360.
I don't have much to spend as I'm trying to make as much money possible.

I would fit 4gb ram (dunno what make as I haven't a clue about comp parts)
I'd get a 1tb hdd and an ssd but I don't know if I can just move the OS from the hdd to the ssd but you can tell me.
I wouldnt know the first place to start looking for a gpu.only thing I know about them are 1gb is good 2gb is good don't know anything after that, so if any one could help
I would probably sell my laptop for at least 250 and I have 100 already so I would then have 150 for upgrades

Try posting in the building and upgrading forum.

If you could increase your budget to around €500 you could build a new entry level gaming pc that would be far better.

DELL Precision 390 can take 8 GB RAM, but it has to be EEC (IIRC) which is more expensive. It only has a 375W PSU, thus the choice of suitable gaming GPUs is rather limited, so with a PSU and memory upgrade you might be spending well over 400 yoyos and that isn't worth it.

Edit: I'm not badmouthing the offer, it's a fair enough asking price for what it is. But turning it into a gaming rig is just not economically viable.

Missing a monitor and keyboard as their keyboards have the german layout. That case comes in green or blue as well.

The psu and mainboard will allow you to upgrade to a much higher spec in future.
