Cleaning up the Blast City

So I've decide to get the cab cleaned up with I wait for my new chassis to come.
First thing I did and has worked out really well was sand down the CP lid.
I gave it a wet sand with 400 and 1200 sand paper.
It was mankey,had thousands of little scratches filled with dirt.
Couldnt get them all out but its mostly white again.
It seems almost impossible to get an instruction card for these so I drew up a BC logo in cad and lasered it out to make one.Made a few alternatives so I'll try them all out at a later date and see whats best.
I've decide Im going for white buttons and balltops.(the missus cant stand the pink and green)
I didnt take a before pic but heres a few.





There's a little strip of foam above the glass and its filthy.
Dont know what to do with it.its like draft excluder to stop the glass moving.

Im going to retro brite the bottom half of the holder so I'll prob give this peice a going over for the ****z n giggles.

The best thing I used on the metal parts of my cab was one of those white magic sponges. You'll get them in halfords. Really good at bringing out the scuffs and minor scrapes. Fills in as well.

After that a coat of t cut.

Yeah a coat of tcut is definitely on the cards,
No a massive amount of metal in the blast to be honest.
Theres a scrape on the marquee holder I'd love to get out but I doubt it I'll be able to buff it out.Its on the clear plastic.

Yeah. That's the same sort if thing I got in Halfords
