added you there mate go into your profile ingame by using the top right button when on the main menu. then go into friends and click me then go into my cities and the region should be there.

Still four lots available mate. there's not much of a point in making a big 16 lot region when you can only really work/trade with the handful of cities closest to you. With 7 max everyone can work/trade together seen here

Didnt play yesterday and I prob wont play today either. Normally id be mad to get home from work to play but Im a bit bored with this already.

Maybe if the resource sharing starts working properly I might go back on but atm im making a city. Running out of space for things like water and power and getting frustrated that I cant buy them properly.

SimCity is my favourite game series and Ive waited ten years for this game but all its done has left me feeling disappointed

Just broke 75k for the first time last night on EU W 6, yay, purely education city. Definitely didn't have the most efficient layout, but hey. I was trying to remove as many intersections as possible since they're ass for traffic. Something I have noticed is that the single highway access is crippling. With a couple of other cities in the region (done by myself and a friend), a full municipal bus terminal has 75 mins+ waiting time and huge traffic bottleneck. I have a train terminal too. I suppose I should make another terminal but then I'd need to bulldoze half my city, no ty.

Edit: Resource sharing was working for me last night between my cities and my friend's... It's time to make a city to dump all my crap in .

My third city in my region is doing well, +11k an hour, just about 19k in pop and I just spent 10 minutes on patrol with one of my police officers.

Think the region may be full yeah, think dcully may have two plots by accident doh so maybe he could abandon one for one of yous. Hopefully in the next update theyll create true 16 city regions where everyone can trade/work together. 7 fills up too quickly.

I abandoned it earlier but list connection and queue to get back in so unsure if its actually abandoned, will check later after barca milan game

I'm almost getting bored of this already.

Most fun I'm having in fact is coming up with new names for cities that get around their profanity filter.

I have St. Chitty, New Chitt City & San Chittcisco.

Once you run out of space it becomes a bit of a drag. You just don't have room for airports, more than one of anything else etc.

im not getting bored of it just yet but agree with the space thing. you really do have to specialise and go with one or the other. cant just go building everything in the game. I know what there trying to do with the whole specialised citys but it just isnt as fun as being to have your city with all the gambling/hitech/tourist/oil districts in one big city. hopefully they at least double or triple the size of the plots in the future.

“The servers are not handling any of the computation done to simulate the city you are playing. They are still acting as servers, doing some amount of computation to route messages of various types between both players and cities. As well, they’re doing cloud storage of save games, interfacing with Origin, and all of that. But for the game itself? No, they’re not doing anything. I have no idea why they’re claiming otherwise.”

only played my first hour of it today , first impressions are good but plots for the city are a bit small , or is it just me thinking that ???

LOL there is just so much wrong with this game right now,found this over on reddit.
Shame really because apart from the glaring issues already mentioned many times this game be incredible if and when they addressed the issues, map size being my number one issue.

Right, I've made up my mind. Sticking with Sim City 4 (absolutely hooked on it at the moment) but once the bugs are sorted out and the map size increased I'm moving into Sim City 2013. The game seems brilliant but bugs and map size is holding it back.

The thing is its taking 4 hours + now ffs .

Scratch that looks like 3 of my cities are the same,tried to play old ones since the one on aran islands was fecked , what a joke

It seems like some of the fundamental logic behind the game is broken. For example one house will say "I love all the places to shop", and the house next door of same wealth will say "where are the places to shop in the town?".
Also, the RCI, maps, and residents seem to contradict each other making it impossible to satisfy everyone.

Or maybe I'm just playing it wrong. I only got it today after all.

I think it depends on the building's land value. Different values like different shops.
Is there any easy way of working out the spacing of roads for maximum plot density? I still haven't got the hang of it.

I loaded up sim city 4, and immediately remembered why I haven't played it since the first time I bought it.

Stupidly small city maps spread out over a nebulous "region". :-)

This has been happening to me over and over tonight. The whole game is just BROKEN for me. :eek:
