How long before you start complaining on refurbishement

    A gob**** bought a house three years ago and hasn't moved in
    Arrives at the weekend to drill holes and bangs a lot at very strange times.
    It's a semi d so we here everything. I want to throttle him.
    Weekends are generally ruined..

    How long would you put up with it?

    Well I'd politely strike up conversation with my neighbour as a matter of course - but that's just me. Your posting style seems to suggest a different tack.
