    this weekend it's the turn of the ARRL DX CW contest.

    its the US against the world.....

    so the US stations are all listening hard for us foreigners......

    seven new states yesterday!

    AZ, FL, IA, WI, NC, VA, & MD

    and my top 20 distance chart has 11 new entries as a result!

    and as if that wasn't fun enough, my homebrewed long wire for 80m..... where I get at least s9+30 of QRN 24/7.......

    my first DX contact into the US as well.....

    now I aint ever gonna win anything in one of these contests, and I firmly believe that they should be limited to how much of the bands they take up......

    but maybe I'm softening to 'em!!
