    One of my favourites alright!

Also, theres a Mike Brewer Motors on Autotrader.co.uk that, according to their ads, is his.

Its got a number of owners. Its also not the first time he fronted a garage like that after being on TV.

Good episode! I thought the job on the brake discs was a bit dodge alright. Didn't Ed use a contraption that cut a few mm's off the discs on a previous car they did? Why not use that instead?

My guess is that he tries to explore a variety of techniques suited to different budgets and skill levels over the episodes to educate people of the possibilities. It's very likely he went back and skimmed them later.

So you should use an angle grinder on a set of discs that, as Ed said "can't be bought anymore"?

    I wouldn't do it!

Yeah he did have some fancy contraption, a lathe that spun the hub with a precision guided cutting bit that skimmed the disc on the car. He said it cost a lot of money at the time, wonder why he didnt use it here?

I was wondering how they were spinning the hub to do it with the angle grinder and wire brush on the car, arent they rear wheel drive? I presume the front axel is independent of each side.

Did he say 8 grand for shipping the car from Poland or did I hear that wrong?

If the lip was only tiny on the discs which he said it was I'd leave well enough alone. The new pads will clean them up even more, once there were no splits or cracks all is well

Presumably there has to be some option for new discs? Otherwise the car is a scrapper as soon as the originals are done.

Plenty of companies will make custom discs

Saw the show last night and enjoyed it. Over 2k for a clutch was a bit mad but suppose when your dealing with a Lambo its cheap :)

Hate to admit it, but enjoyed that a lot last night, and maybe it's just my imagination but Brewer seemed less of a tit than usual. :)

Have often wondered what's the story with the ' O'Connell street ' street sign on the workshop wall.....(apologies if this has been covered elsewhere)

I can't believe that the great haircut of that bloke, who tuned the carbs, wasn't mentioned yet :D

Can't believe nobody's mentioned the greatest TV quote of all time.

"We've finally got a Bull in the China shop!"

Pity they didn't show more of the buyer's McLaren!
