    Hello,

My brother is interested in returning to college as a mature student, at 30 - he had previously attended Griffith College which is not subsidized by the government and was solely paid by himself so -

would he be eligible to attend a fee paying college with government subsidies considering he has never availed of them before? (eg: UCD/Trinity)

He did not finish the degree in Griffith btw,

    Thanks,

By the sounds of things he should be ok under the 'second chance student' criteria. However, he has to have been out of education for 5 years to get it.

You will need transcripts from Griffith and prob a letter from them saying that he didn't complete for the application.
