Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm on business in Seattle for a few weeks at least. I have a car and don't mind driving.

    Any good recommendations?

Seems nice country out this way. Any scenic spots? Wouldn't mind doing a bit of walking/hiking. Weather isn't fantastic but hoping it will brighten up a bit!

    Cheers.

    My highlights of Seattle were....

    • Boeing Factory - Great museum and lots of planes you can board (incl old Air Force One and Concorde)
    • Bill Spiedel's Underground Tour - best bit of Seattle - google it
    • Space Needle/Monorail - very touristy but suppose it's one ya need to tick off the list.
    • Pike Place Market - cool little market with lots of old stlye shops including the first ever Starbucks
    • Lake Union Cruise - lovely little trip around the lake, see all the houseboats from Sleeping in Seattle and the likes or Warren Buffet and Bill gates super-yachts
Belltown area seemed to be the best for nightlife/bars/restaurants.

Further afield, Vancouver and Portland are both gorgeous cities, great skiing in Mount Baker, or if you're into hiking, head to Mount St.Helena

+1 on Baker, its incredible how much snow they get.

Check out the Mariners if you get a chance, they'll be starting up soon too.
