    Groupon ripping us off...

£39.99 for a camera where on the Irish site it's €59.99

    http://www.groupon.ie/deals/national-deals/ask-direct/17548918

Its being sold from a UK Distributor, hence the increased shipping cost.

Don't think you can blame postage on the UK/Ireland difference.

On a related note a load of these 'specials' really arn't given RRP is not charged often by retailers (which is what the majority quote their savings from).

None of these supposed 'bargain' sites are really all that great. I have seen 'deals' where the RRP is vastly out of whack compared with what the market is actually charging for the items. One such was a typical low-end 7" Chinese tablet, supposedly reduced from €399 to ~€99. Tablets of similar spec are readily available for <€100 including postage and VAT, so demonstrably NOT a bargain.

I have seen numerous other occurrences of similar misrepresetation of savings, with the inflated price supported by a link to a typically shady looking dropship style site.
