Ghost looks interesting but a bit pricey.
Any conventions on in Ireland this year (apart from belfast)?

Just Belfast this year , couple of interesting lectures coming up in Dublin I believe.
I actually only got my hands on Ghost last saturday. very , very nice bit of kit.
The fun part will be fitting it in with other stuff I do.

Cool, just saw the refills for sale there, only 4.99. Not bad.

So do you do many performances? I haven't got a chance to do any real performances yet just friends and family, looking to get a restraint gig soon though

one hopes you get a Restaurant gig.
A restraint gig is a whole different thing.

Is there really much of a call for straight up regular restaurant gigs in Ireland though?

you know , I've never been in a restaurant with a table hopping magician to be honest.
Never heard of anyone I know seeing one either.
I always thought it was an American thing.

I can't remember was it a bio I read, or an interview on magicireland I did, but I seem to recall Keith Barry saying that he started out table hopping in some restaurant in Waterford.

In other news, I think I'm going to restart magicireland.

He did , but in fairness he was about 14, and it was for 20 quid.

Good luck with Magic Ireland by the way.

I think it could catch on here, a lot of places are trying to differentiate themselves from the competition. I phoned one place and they said they would be interested and to come in and give them a demo. I just need to get my act together so to speak and arrange a meeting!

It is just difficult to find places to perform in general. Any ideas on getting gigs, paid or unpaid, id be interested in hearing them.

    Thanks.

Using mobile so excuse the typos and use of random words

    Sea.

I would imagine the issue wouldn't be with getting the work.
It would be with getting paid.
