Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

5 players to score PL hat tricks after coming on as a substitute?

I have a feeling Gerrard might have done this (although I'm thinking it might have been in the Europa League?)

I think either Saha or Robbie Earnshaw did this before, not sure if it's PL or a cup competition though.

Nope, no answers since for it Pudders, I'm sure everyone has forgotten it by now. Still open if you fancy having a go. Actually I would have said the answer you got was the more difficult of the 2.

I'll try another one along the same lines, might be easier.

There are 2 occasions were 2 players with same name (1st name, last name) with exactly same spelling that have played for the same team in the PL.

Name the 2 teams and the players with the common names.

Yes they played in the Premier League.

    Here is another hint I reckon I should make clear;
While it's a household name, one of the guys only ever made one appearence for Everton in PL, other guy was the high profile player

I have one - There have been 19 winners of the Premier league who are the only player from their own nation to win it, Can you name them?

Sheva's not on the list, must have came to Chelsea after their 2 titles, Kanchelskis isnt right either as there has been more than one PL winner from Russia (Zhirkov from Chelsea)
    The other three are right..

    That's it alright.

Other clubs on the list are:

    Bella Vista (Uruguay 1930)
    Juventus 1934
    Inter Milan 1938
    Penarol 1950
    Kaiserslautern 1954
    Vasco da Gama 1958
    Santos 1962
    West Ham 1966
    Santos 1970

Juventus have had a total of four captains which is pretty unique.

He's not on the list in the winning seasons of 1999–2000, 2000–01 and 2002–03, Fortune never played the required 10 games to earn a winner's medal, making 6, 7 and 9 appearances respectively.
