Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Missing out Leeds, unless you aren't counting the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup as the UEFA Cup.

    Newcastle won it as well.

Wasn't organised by UEFA at that time I believe so probably not in the record books as such

I didn't include them as it wasn't officially organised by UEFA and the qualification was more based on who you were rather than what you achieved. Just included Cup Winners Cup, UEFA/EL and European Cup/CL.

Loads of nations and clubs from certain cities and towns werent allowed to enter as it was based on a country hosting a commercial Fair thats why it was called the inter-cities Fairs cup.

    5 Pallister
    6 Keane
    7
    8 Ince

    Jeremy goss or Andrei kanchelskis?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,793 ✭✭✭Red Kev

If Tony Adams is in it I'll go Winterburn, Keown or Steve Bould for one of the other spots. Maybe Denis Irwin or Des Walker as well.

EDIT: It's an excellent question Kolido, you have to remember that Villa, Norwich, Wednesday, QPR and Blackburn were up in the top 10 during those years, need to get the old brain cells jogging for this one!

Not in that season we didn't. Finished like a place or two above relegation. Wilkinson couldn't cope with the change in the backpass rule.

I guess it's the RB position and ManU's Irwin/Parker are already ruled out. Maybe the Villa RB then? Chris Price or Earl Barrett perhaps?

    ==

In the meantime here's another question :

Who's is the only player to score goals in (1) the conference (2) one of the leagues directly below the conference and (3,4,5,6) all four the divisions of the English league (ie League1+2, Championship, Prem .... or whatever they were called when he did it).

    None of those 2 either.

Regarding your question, not Kevin Philips is it?

Steve Finan? (For the player to score in all divisions obviously!)

On the defender in the PFA team - I'd think it has to be someone from either Villa, Blackburn, Norwich or QPR as they were all close to the top.Wasn't Staunton?
