Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thomond Park is one anyway. Pretty sure they've played in Cork too, no idea which ground.

The Mardyke (also in Cork) is the other one, I believe.

A bit of a joke that the Cross has never been used, for the small friendlies like Oman.

Very famous ground! Was at the Cork City sports when I was very young and witnessed a world record there when Yuriy Sedykh set a new world record in Hammer throwing. Even got his autograph.

What is the lowest ranking English team (according to league finishes this season) to have a player at the world cup?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,998 ✭✭✭grohlisagod

    West Brom?

Edit: Misread the question. Thought it had to be an England player.

Jay Jay okocha when he was at Bolton in the championship wasn't that long ago but I'd say there are much lower than that.

Q: Which national team has had six completely different main colours for their home jersey since the 1930s?

(I can already see how that q might be misread, but I hope it'll make sense)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,721 ✭✭✭Al Capwned

Without thinking about it, I know Brazil changed their jerseys at least once. (After the '50 final v Uruguay) so I'm gonna guess at them.

so which member of the argentina WC squad made their senior international debut before their senior club debut? (hopefully he's the only one :pac: )

I'm going to guess Southampton, theyve been tonked plenty of times in the 90's-00's that surely theyve let in about 7-10 hat tricks.

    or Fulham

Cillian Sheridan, if he plays, will become only the 5th Irish player to play in the champions league group stages for a non British club. Can you name the other 4 and their clubs?
