Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Benjani? He was on fire for a short while at Portsmouth.

Demba Ba at Newcastle, same reasoning.

Going to also say Kalou for the craic because he just sprung to mind. Sometimes lethal, but almost always pretty useless. :pac:

    El Hadji Diouf, maybe?

EDIT: got beaten to Kalou and Ba, had that reply window open for fecking ages! :pac:

Wycombe were third tier at the time as far as I know, in the 2nd division (now known as League 1).

More to do with the actual game itself.

First FA Cuo goal scored by a guy who saw a ad on Cefax ?

In around that yeah. More the story of Roy Essandoh, whose agent responded to an add put up on Ceefax by Lawrie Sanchez due to Wycombe's striker crisis. He'd only go on to score the winner to put them through to the FA Cup semi-final, the club's greatest achievement. His only ever goal in the Football League. Incredible stuff.

    Not Maldini.

Sorry I made a mistake in that question, it was not the same team they both lost against, but they both only apperaed in 1 final, both losing.
