Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I subscribe to this site's RSS feeds, lots of good free apps every couple of days.

If anyone is interested, I found a couple of gems out of a lot of nonsense.

One I found is called TOONTASTIC. It enables kids to build a story arch, where they can put together a short cartoon mixing their own drawings with prototypes provided by the apps, the creator gets to narrate the story and also layer it with music. It's really great fun.

Another one I found is MOVE THE TURTLE. It's an app which teaches kids the basics of programming by showing them how to do tasks in very simple format. My one complaint about it is there is no sound, which is a pity because pre-literate children could easily learn to do this if there were a narrator giving instructions.

IT'S MY BODY is also very good for learning about the biology of the body, very clearly and entertainingly educational for the little ones.

I have also found with some of the stories you can download that the narration isn't very up to scratch, it's like they hire low quality professionals to do the narration, as far as I have found. But I will keep looking.
