ABS Plastic repair

    Hi.

    Anybody have any idea how to repair a crack in ABS. We were a bit overzealous pushing our caravan into the garage today and kinda missed the doorway.:confused:. The ABS gas locker at the front took a bit of a knock but sprang back into shape. However there's an 8" crack that'll need repairing.
    I was going to put some Glass fibre matting on the back of the crack and fill the front. Would this be the thing to do.

    youre repair is correct, before you start drill a 4mm hole at each end of crack first,it stops the crack from spreading any further.
