Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hello, Can anyone tell me where I apply for my parents Birth Certificates, they were born in Cork in 1907 and 1919....I have found records on line with references but have no idea where to actually get copies or even see copies...I would like to see my grandparents details....I am presuming that they would be on the certificates..any help greatly appreciated...thanks.

order by post from GRO Roscommon using the references on the Index. Download the form from : http://www.groireland.ie/apply_for_a_cert.htm

ask for research certs which cost €4, and make sure to include the full references - name, year/quarter, registration district, volume & page

p.s. if you are in Dublin you can order and collect certs in the research room in Lwr. Abbey St.
