I am soon going to be looking after a a macaw while her owners go away.
She is an ok bird but can be temperamental and gets a bit nippy, which is obviously a but scary.

Has anyone any tips on bonding with her, what can I do to make her trust me and not eat me :)

I hope you have tolerant neighbours, Macaws can be extremely loud.
Usually they will bond to one person and tolerate others.
You should google it a bit tbh.

If you only have her for a few days then you Likely won't bond with her. You are a stranger to her and she won't trust you.

Don't push things. That beak could land you hospital. Offer some of its favourite treats and chat to her while sitting by the cage and just see what happens
