Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We look shattered out there and people are blaming our subs. Shelvey has been poor but Assadi did well I thought.

Not saying i agree with the subs but we lost this game because of a SHOCKING defensive error. Not because of our manager.

easy to blame the subs, but the reality is that the players were dead on their feet at the end there.

Actually thought Assaidi looked good but did nothing productive and really only got in Enriques way. Shelvey got in the box and should have scored.

One mistake or one chance taken over there, you choose -that's how close and cruel this beautiful game is.

Double Subs made at the wrong time, abysmal decisions to be perfectly honest.

It did win the game. People need to remember that we won 3-1 there tonight. Now it sucks that we're out but that is not in any way a bad result. We lost this tie through STUPID defending over both legs.

I wouldn't say he did, a certain player that some people think is a legend

30 Minutes left in the game, we just score, and then we make a double change.

Defensive errors cost us the game alright but Rodgers had no reason to make a double change when we were having the best patch of the game.

Assadi looked alright when he came on, was glad to see him play all the same. Shelvey still needs to cop on.

    Not really. Zenit aren't great.
As good as anything left in the competition plus the fact they've spent a fortune it was a great effort considering the stupid mistakes and poor finishing in St Petersburg

They weren't dead on their feet after 58 minutes though, especially Henderson.

Not when loads of people raised serious questions at the time of the substitutions...

I could understand taking one of Allen or Henderson off, but both!! Team lost all cohesion that they were building up.

i think all liverpool fans think he is a legend one mistake doesnt change that

Looking at it bluntly, the subs cost Pool the game, imo. Hendo and especcially Allen were great tonight. Assaidi for Downing should have been the only change until late on.

The mental fortitiude shown tonight was very encouraging, I must add.

players clearly looked knackered at the end.

We were always going to get tired. 2 changes to freshen it up, keep the momentum going. Unfortunately the 9 remaining players tired badly. Too easy to blame the manager all the time

The timing of the subs wasn't great but at the end of the day we were creating very few good chances most of the night. Allen needed to come off though, he was shattered.
