Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A strange thing happened with a bet I placed about 20 mins ago.

I placed a several team acca on tonight's Europa league matches. I've started using coupons where possible over the past while, simply because it's so much hassle trying to get bets written on normal dockets cashed (rarely settled, one shop rings the other, prices seem to come from nowhere etc etc).

Anyway, 2 of my selections were Chelsea marked on the coupon at 1/3 and Athletico at 7/4.
The bet was duly placed and when checking my slip, now that I'm safely back in the office, I saw that Athletico had been cut to 13/8 on my slip. Fair's fair, I thought, after all, prices on the coupons are subject to change. Looking at paddy's website though, I saw that Chelsea are now 4/11, but my slip still said the 1/3 that they were on the coupon.

Now, of course Chelsea's price could have changed in the past 24 minutes, but, really, do I think that?? Or do I think that whoever wrote the software did it a way in which it would be advantageous to the bookie?

It'll hardly matter, after all, the acca is the bookie's dream bet, but still, give me a f**king chance Paddy.

Not sure has it always been policy but the odds on the quick slips is WAY below the website/standard prices.

In all my years betting I've never noticed it. I knew straight off the machines they have in the various shops had worse odds but didn't know the same applied to the slips though Id rarely use them and often wrote out odds.

Only noticed today as I went onto the website when I came home to do an extra bet, the differences are huge.

    Lyon: Evens > 13/10
    Barca: 4/7 > 8/13
    Bayern: 1/3 > 2/5
    Arsenal: 4/9 > 4/7

The whole thing changes the odds from 3/1 to 4/1 which is 25% of a difference.

Is it the same craic in every shop with them?. I knew the odds changed to the slip but thats expected as they need to be printed and money lands on each side but didn't think the prices would differ than the current actual odds.
