Deposting into credit union

    Is it possible to deposit into a credit union account via online bank transfers, or do you have to physically go into a credit union and do it there with cash?

    Not directly, you can (for mine anyway) transfer into there account, and (assuming you quote the correct reference) it will arrive in your account after a few days.

    Varies, but most Credit Unions should be able to give you a sort code and account number to deposit into, using your CU account number as a reference. Obviously it may take a day or two to be applied to your CU account.

    Cool, i was just thinking of using it as a regular savings account but don't want to be going all the time to deposit.

    you can with my one anyway, i actually got them to set up direct debit when i got my loan so i dont have to go in weekly

    Yes you can by creating a standing order but it would have to be a fixed amount at fixed intervals (weekly/monthly)

    i can transfer money from my BOI365 online account to my CU account. no need for standing order.
