How's things lads? Is it possible for my dad to get a licence on a shotgun which I hold a license for? Regards Brian

Yes.

He fills in the FCA1, and includes your license/certificate number in the relevant section.

He can apply for a training license (cheaper) but it comes with a lot more restrictions than a full license so he would be better going for the full license.

yes, just fill out an fca1 form and add in the bit section 4.1
"If you will have joint use of this firearm, please
provide the certificate number of the other user: "

quick question lads are you better off installing a safe before you apply for your licence? thanks

For a rifle you definitely need a safe.

You must tick the box on the FCA1 to say you meet the security requirements. Ticking this without having a safe is fraud.

If you are not sure then speak to the FO about what is needed before applying.
