Does anybody know what the story is with the townhouses on Tolka Valley Road? There are about 20 plus townhouses facing the apartment block ( I think the apartments are called Premier Square but not sure)

The townhouses were built a few years ago but were boarded up and left - like a ghost estate. But for the past few years there's work going on there.

The apartments are called Prospect Hill. I reckon the builder went bust and they're in Nama now.

So do you think they'll be up for sale or handed over to local authority to house tenants - they look lovely

These town houses are fab. They are huge. IIRC, DCC are trying to get funding for them to be tidied up and the area around them cleaned up.

The builder was Mc Cabe Builders, wife was recently on news for selling expensive jewellery while the company was in with NAMA.

Be nice to see then get sorted and sold as they are as you say, really nice.

They are being refurbished by builder on behalf of NAMA & will be handed over to DCC who in turn will hand them over to Cluid Housing Association who will be responsible for the allocation/management of the units from families off the Housing List. These being occupied will help with the overall management of the Prospect Hill development.

I live in Prospect Hill & it is far from being a kip, as so eloquently put by some muppet moderator earlier in this thread.
