The TXP50ST50 is now just £799.95

Using an active shutter system, the Panasonic TX-P50ST50 gives you the very highest resolution images in glorious 3D. This sophisticated system allows for Full 1080p HD images to be displayed in 3D, giving you greater detail and brightness than passive 3D systems. With 2D to 3D conversion, you're free to enjoy any material shown on the TV in brilliant 3D - including TV programs, home videos and even content stored on USB or SD card files!

As you'd expect from plasma leaders, Panasonic, the panel is pretty impressive, too. Panasonic have introduced a new 2000Hz Focused Field Drive system that provides super-smooth images, whatever the resolution. SUPERIOR SOUND
In addition to improved picture quality, the Panasonic TX-P50ST50 also features superior sound quality. The V-Audio sound processing system is matched by eight, directional speakers and a separate subwoofer. This not only gives a spacious, detailed sound but also a deeper, richer sound than lesser TVs. There's also an optical digital audio output; allowing you to easily improve the sound quality via home cinema system.

BETTER THAN EVER NETWORKING WITH BUILT-IN WI-FI
When it comes to connecting up, the TXP50ST50 is one of the best Panasonic plasmas yet. Featuring a Freeview HD tuner, the TX-P50ST50 is ideal for making the most of High Definition TV. VIERA Connect brings together a host of features that make this much more than 'just' a TV. Stream video, photos and music from another source, such as your PC, via DLNA. Alternatively, use the Application-based browser to view shopping based functions, social media Apps and catch-up TV channels. New to this model is a web browser and media player. The web browser also supports HTML5 pages, ensuring you can surf the web just as you would do on a PC. Use one of the two USB or the SD card inputs and enjoy music from many different file types via the dedicated media player. Finally, there's the USB hard drive recording PVR option. Simply connect an external USB Hard Disc Drive and the VIERA remote will treat it like a PVR, allowing you to not only record TV but also rewind live TV. With such a comprehensive networking ability, it's good to see that the TXP50ST50 now gives you the choice of connecting by either Ethernet or the built-in wi-fi - no extra dongle required.

ELEGANT DESIGN
Using a new "Crystal" frame design, the Panasonic TXP50ST50 looks noticeably sleeker than its forerunners. The new TV is more compact in every direction than the previous ST30, including being almost a third skinnier: the depth is now just 50mm or less.

Better-looking, improved connectivity and even higher standards of picture and sound quality; the Panasonic TXP50ST50 takes some beating.

We only have one last small shipment of these left - if you've lusted after one for months - it's time that piggybank gets a headache....

Keep us posted,

Hi Dermondo,

Thanks for getting in touch :)

We can do delivery on the 42" for £29.95 on a next working day service.

Unfortunately the ST50 range doesn't have Freesat.  The only Freesat model we supply is the WT50 and VT50 range.

Dermondo,

apologies for the delay getting back to you:

The 42ST50 is £599.95 - but does not have a sat tuner on board
The 42WT50 and DT50 are unfortunately now completely sold out for us and are finished lines whilst we await the new Pana ranges.

If you are looking for a 40" with a Freesat HD tuner we do have the 40ES6300 available in limited quantities at £569.95 - unfortunately - its not as good a TV as the 42ST50!

Apologies again for the delay getting back to you and keep me posted if we can assist,

ATVB,

John Mc & Crew

How does the ST compare to the GT in the 50" model?

Would it be worth the extra couple of quid to go for the GT?
