Dear Duathletes,

Due to unexpected events beyond the control of Kilkenny Triathlon Club and event hosts Mount Juliet Estate, the Duathlon due to take place in Mount Juliet on March 9th has been moved to the Kilkenny Castle course and will go ahead on 9th March. Please note, the Duathlon at Kilkenny Castle already scheduled to take place on the 23rd of March is not affected.

All participants who have entered the original Mount Juliet race will automatically be transferred to the race in Kilkenny Castle 9th March. A full race briefing with all race and registration times and information will be emailed out to entrants very shortly.

Should any racers who have entered the March 9th race wish to receive a refund then please email duathlon@kilkennytriathlonclub.com for further details.

We hope that you will all be able to join us on March 9th and March 23rd in the Kilkenny Castle.

We are very grateful to the OPW, Kilkenny Castle, Kilkenny Gardai, Kilkenny County Council and Kilkenny Borough Council for facilitating the change of venue on March 9th.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR KTC DUATHLON SERIES ENTRANTS -

Dear racers, due to unforeseen circumstances the Duathlon taking place in Mount Juliet on the 9th March has been relocated to take place the same date on the Kilkenny Castle route. All racers who have entered the Mount Juliet race (through single or bundle entry) will be transferred over to this race. For all the information on this please click on the article below.

Please note, the Duathlon already scheduled for the Kilkenny Castle on the 23rd March is not affected.

A full race briefing will be sent out to all entrants very shortly.

We appreciate this may cause racers some issues and if you have any issues please email us at duathlon@kilkennytriathlonclub.com and we will get back to you immediately.

Yeah, really great event today, big thanks to KTC.

Very well organised, tons of marshals throughout the course, a minor delay at the start yeah but not their fault (delay on the coppers arriving I think). First time doing a duathlon today so really wasn't sure how it would go. Suffered like a dog on the second run... fun times!
