Looking to get a new game for my xbox, can anyone recommend a good one? along the lines of LA Noire and GTA, games likes that?

Nah, try these. All are "decent" at the very least and good time sinks if nothing else

Saints Row 2 (way more to do than 3)
Saints Row 3 (less to do than 2 but more refined)
Far Cry 2 (flawed, but cheap)
Far Cry 3 (superior)
Red Dead Redemption
Bully Scholarship Edition (don't bother looking for a physical copy, get it on GoD)
Assassins Creed 2 + Brotherhood (back to back preferably)

If you haven't played Red Dead Redemption then don't look anywhere else although sleeping dogs is good also.
