    And the other headlines tonight...

    The sky is blue
    Grass is green
    The world is round
    Water is wet
    Rocks are hard
    Tomorrow is Monday
A bear was caught taking a dump in the woods

And that's the news tonight. Good evening.

    :D:D:):););)

Back to the BBC SPOTY now to see another Scot go one better than Nicholas... :D:D;);)

Dislikeable crowd in general. Luke was the only one who I liked.

Sam seems up it. Ever see her on the xtra factor and on twitter? Loves herself.

It will be interesting to see who the judges predicted to win on the xtra factor.

Someone should tell sam she'll probably be back making sandwiches for convicts in a couple of years.

 you read as jealous and begrudging. Be happy for her and you'll feel better in yourself.:)

Will be interesting to see how far luke was off nicolas in getting into the final.

I enjoyed the show.. Sam was by far the best singer in a very bad year

Enjoy the banter here even more

Hopefully we will all be around next year!

    Nah.

I don't feel the need to be happy for someone who's partaking in a show where people voting are putting money into the pockets of cowell and co.

    Makes me sick.

Still a very derivative and fairly boring song sung by an overrated wannabe diva.
Sam did a decent enough job.

As for longevity, it's really about what songs they feed her and where they categorise her.
You can see how they shafted previous winners by giving them lame songs and expecting them to produce strings of number ones. The better songs are kept for the established big names.
Waste of time giving her pop songs, she needs big belter ballads.

On the other hand James Arthur seems to taken his eye off doing what he did best and risk disappearing back in to obscurity again.

Gerrup Sharon, and behave!.I suppose I'd be bawling too if I was unemployed and had to go home and face Ossie the birdeater!

I doubt that's the reason she's bawling considering the the nice big cheque she is about to receive for working on the show this year. Add the supposed "winning mentor's bonus" on top of that. Plus she's not unemployed she's a presenter on "The Talk" in America.

Louis is being very honest tonight. He wouldn't sign Nicolas?

Quick question; if you feel like that, why do you watch the programme? Presumably there is a facility to change channels or to turn off on your TV set?

Jesus at least Louis is honest!

He knows a lot more than most people give him credit for. He knows who is going to outlast the other.

Housemate has it on. I'm watching BBC Sports Personality now. And anyways they're not getting any money from me.

You're also putting money in their pockets by watching it.

    Nicole: Sam
    Gary: Sam
    Mrs. O: Sam
    Louis: Sam or Luke

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,598 ✭✭✭Meauldsegosha

All four judges predicted Sam to win. Louis also predicted Luke.

Surprised they all predicted Sam, would have thought at least one would have picked Tamera
