I liked that version of Get Lucky. He's not great at playing guitar though, it didn't really add anything IMO.

Lots of inconsistency this year re talent level of acts being brought to bootcamp, should make the whittlin' easier at the end of the day

Ditto, not a fan of this format! I presume the audience of 4000 or whatever have paid for tickets? The audition room + arena gimmick must be a nice money-spinner for them, but doesn't really add much for the viewer.
Joseph sounds a wee bit better tonight but I still don't really get the way they rave about him?

I'd say the tickets are free, you just have to apply for them, same as the auditions for the last few years.

Agree about Joseph, he's nothing special at all. He doesn't stand out, apart from being attractive.

I like Joseph's gravelly voice but I didn't think he was hitting the notes last night. Didn't see enough of him tonight to make a judgement and I don't remember him from last year.

I think I'm getting old, or developing an aural immunity, nothing tonight has been any good .Maybe it's my hearing , but apart from the macho rock group they've mostly been out of tune.:(

The blonde guy on the moment is hopeless. Got through on his image alone.

A few other average acts got through as well.

Between the Saturday and Sunday shows we wont see everyone that goes onto bootcamp, need some time a FEW ads.
Not a fan so far of this years format and editing.
Also usually by now I would have a "top ten (ish)" most likely for the final, but so far there have only been a few who really stand out, the rest are average and / or the cast-offs from previous years shows.

He's a good looking guy too. I wonder if be gets through to the live shows, will he lose weight before they start, like so many people do. He looks good despite his weight but he'd be gorgeous if he lost a bit.

Just caught up with the show there now....standouts were definitely Crissie and Paul. Two genuinely impressive talents.

I also really liked the retro girl who sang 'God Bless the Child'.

Despite being a huge fan of Joseph last year, he just hasn't impressed me as much this time around. Will be interesting to see how he gets on in Boot Camp.

Tickets are free. It actually costs them more money to have arena auditions because they obviously have to hire out the venues.

There are also two audience sessions per show. During one of the arena shows a couple of weeks ago it showed the audience being changed.

This is a stupid format. The first person on has to get through because there's no benchmark, unless she's really crap. Really stupid format. They should be able to choose the acts after everyone has had their chance, not as each one has tried.
