Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tinting a bezel & monitor glass, what grade of tint?

Looking to clean up the finish around the monitor on this Ikea cocktail. Was thinking about doing the following.

There are two pieces of glass, one on top of the other. On one, paint a black bezel around on the underside, so just the monitor image pokes through.

Get one of those glass tint things you put on car windows and cover the second layer.

All that should be visible then is the monitor shining through a nice black surface.

Has anyone done anything like this before? Any idea of the grade of tint to use? Don't want it to be too dark, but at the same time I don't want it to be too transparent!
