I would take a point for either.

2 points behind my rival in my work league and we both got 19. Everton losing their CS was nice bonus.

People complaining about today's points need to step back. If you scored 15+ points and have 5+ players left to play you are in a great position.

RVP or Evra v unlikely to get a BP imho

RVP would have had a chance but for the 2nd Utd goal, but now its most likely Raf 3, Giggs 2, Nani 1

    11pts with 6 to play...not good!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,141 ✭✭✭G1032

    12 points. 6 to play.

Bale, Mata, Azpil, Zab, Puncheon, Aguero

By the looks of things here and judging by my private leagues the average will be very low id say around 14/15 so as Roryc said if you have 4 or more players left with 15+ already in the bag i reckon you will be well above average! Depending on who you have left to play of course! despite only having 20 for the day i have 3 quality players left so im slightly optimistic that i will see some green arrows this week, maybe not in the overall rankings but definitely in my private leagues!

Judging by the PPI stats I predict the bonus points to be the following:

    Berbatov 3, Riether 2, Schwarzer 1
Cazorla 3, Monreal 2, Weimann or Wilshere for 1
Holt 3, Kamara 2, Osman or Snodgrass for 1
Rafael 3, Giggs 2, Ferdinand or Carrick for 1
    Kone 3, Figueroa 2, Beausejour 1
Lukaku 3, Ridgewell 2, Sessegnon or McAuley for 1

18 points with 5 to play, guy behind me has 35 with 3 to play,he has Rafael,Bassong & Snodgrass in his team.Only noticed 2 minutes ago that Norwich beat Everton.

17 points, Clyne, Clichy, Mata, and Bale still to play. Nearest opponent has 23 with a 4 point deduction so I'm happy enough with that so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,369 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    Bale needs to score Monday.

then my 1st 4 point hit of the season to get him in will be instantly justified seen as Fellaini did nothing.

horrendous week for nearly everyone though so far.

I need my Aguero differential to kick in a bit tomorrow too.

So are you essentially on 6 points with 5 to play?

    Ouch if so.

I've been wondering how much longer people were going persevere with Fellaini.

Another poor score today and he misses GW29.

sissoko and Bale are long term. Giroud was a gamble. If either do the business this weekend it'll pay it back.

I will admit though that I'm pissing away points recently. Need to bank a transfer or two.

I was giving him this week so see how he fared then moving him on.....but now RVP presents me with a significant problem possibly

Pogbregnyak, i never expect t0 use you, you're there because you're the cheapest striker that plays regulary and i may occasionaly need you.

Ok, Pog, you've been benched since i bought you but get warmed up, you're playing today, I need a big preformance from....................oh nevermind!!!

The Pog sending off is huge for those of us don't have him.

Not only was he sent off yesterday but alot of people need him for GW29 and I'd expect him to get a three game ban meaning he'll miss it.

On another note, I'm going to keep an eye on Kamara for Norwich. Fantastic header for his goal and looked a handful when he got on.

37 with 4 to play, I've climbed a nice bit in my leagues, but need a big day from Lambert and Sissoko to maintain my position because I don't have Bale or Mata

15 pts so far for me, disastrous really. All red arrows so far with a few to play....but I get the feeling Chelsea will bomb at City.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,251 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

At least Puncheon should get on. He'll be gone from my team later, probably for Sissoko.

What does that last sentence even mean?

    Sissoko goal.

This had been coming and, given how he's started life in England, it's no great surprise that the goal comes from Moussa Sissoko. The move is instigated by another January signing, Yoan Gouffran on the left. He cuts inside, shoots low but his effort is blocked by Artur Boruc. The rebound drops to Sissoko, six yards out, to tap in.

yeah i was more annoyed about that when it dawned on me than the actual sending off, really through a spanner in the works that suspension.
