Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Social Smokers

What's you opinion on "social smokers" ? I.e "I only smoke when I drink". Seems kind of pathetic to me being brutally honest. Smoking just for the sake of it or thinking you can't be within the smoking area of a pub or club without a ciggie in your hand. I spend half of my night's out wandering in and out of the smoking…

I hate the smell of smoke, but if someone wants to smoke then fine leave them to it. What I would like though is to be able to walk in or out or a pub, shop, restuartant etc without some dickhead blowing smoke in my face. Height of disrepect, but I know not all smokers do that.

I find smoking relaxing and drinking too, so together they're super relaxing. They make a nice combination. I don't find it pathetic, it's just a lifestyle chose. I prefer not to smoke during the day, although I believe social smoking is a slippery slope towards everyday addiction.
