Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

My g/f's iPhone 4 power/lock button is stuck. It doesn't press down (or move at all really). I took off the back cover just to see if anything looked out of place but it's impossible to tell. Firstly has anyone repaired it themselves?

If not does anyone know of someone good and reliable in Dublin who could repair it? Any ideas on what she should expect to pay?

    Ta.

you cant tell the op that based on your own experience. I got a replacement phone from them and when my phone came back as unrepairable my phone was replaced free of charge

I've read enough horror stories about Fonemenders on here not to trust them with anything. I spoke to a boardsie, CathalDublin who runs irepair.ie who is highly recommended on here and who will do it for €30. Going to get it sorted during the week.

Got it sorted this morning by Cormac. Seemed a nice guy and fixed the phone in half an hour. I'd highly recommend using him if you need an iPhone fixed.
