Never been in the bar but I have had only great experience of Mick Portley and his wife , Betty , whom I presume it is still owned by .

Was in there before, it's a very old skool type pub. Nothing wrong with it but mostly frequenty by regulars rather than passing through customers if you get what I mean.

I know a few lads that always head in there. They are only in there twenties and love it down there. It is an old mans bar primarily but grand for a few pints and watch a match.

Good pub, Mick is sound call in myself now and again but like the others said its an old school style pub.
