New LigaTV channel to be added to Sky (and presumably Eir with their add-on) in January at no extra cost.

Hopefully it will as in addition to live coverage EiR Sport are showing full reruns of matches while ITV will show brief highlights.

Just to confirm that Eir Sports 1 coverage of RWC is geo-blocked here via Sky in NI as is RTE2's coverage via both Sky/Freeview. At least we can watch RTE2 via Saorview as alternative to ITV.

With the Pro14 back this week expect lots of “This is Premier Sports” on both Premier 1&2 on Fridays and Saturdays that the league play. Premier 1 is blocked from 7:00pm Friday for the rest of the evening and 5:10pm-7:15pm and Premier 2 on Saturday from 2:55pm-9:55pm

Does this mean that viewers in ROI will not get some Pro 14 matches live as Eir Sports 1 and TG4 are not covering all matches live according to Pro 14 website?

The three non-Irish fixtures (Cheetahs v Glasgow, Southern Kings v Cardiff and Edinburgh v Zebre) are all live on eir Sport 2.

Premier Sports should show Serie A or La Liga games to Irish customers when games clash with rugby.

They can do so on FreeSports, where they are showing a rerun of Friday’s Villareal v Real Betis game in Munster v Dragons slot. (Somewhat fruitless in FreeSports case since the UK version can be tuned in, but anyway). They are missing a trick by not showing Getafe v Barcelona live IMHO.

Your dish is out of alignment. Premier is on a satellite barely within the range your dish can cover, the slightest misalignment can cause picture issues especially in bad weather.

Yes. It was replaced by VM sport as part of the VM/Eir deal. It is still available in the Eir Sport app

Sky have replaced the Sports Extra 10 for 6 months 20 for the next 6 months with a 15 for 6 months and 30 for the next 6 instead. The earlier offer ended yesterday.

I contacted them today and managed to get the 10 offer, just in case anyone else out there thinks they've missed the boat.

Is anyone else having an issue with by sport 1 hd today? On sky q getting the message, "no programmes are currently being broadcast". Other bt channels coming in fine and the SD version is working fine too.

Same as. The message I'm getting is 'There is a technical fault with this channel'.
