In H2H games, against average, do transfer points deductions get included in the average score?

If you are against average in H2H and you take a points hit then the points are deducted from your score.
So if you got 24 but had a points hit of -4 and the average was 22 then you would be out. If the average was 20 then you would be out as you made more transfers (the score would be 20-20). If the average was < 20 then you would be through.

The "average" team is just the average score for that week. That isn't even a team so it cannot incur a points hit as it doesn't make transfers.

The "average" team is added to leagues that have an odd number of teams to ensure everyone gets a game every week (some other leagues use a bye system whereby if there are an odd number of teams then one team would automatically get max points for a gameweek but not FPL)

So the average score is the average of every team's score before transfer deductions, rather than after, yes?

Sorry, I didn't realise what you were asking.

That is not mentioned anywhere. But as the gameweek points page shows your score before deductions then you can assume that the average is peoples score before deductions are made. Though this is just a guess.
