Every weekday I shower in the morning before work. Saturdays I shower in the evening because I'm usually heading out. Sunday afternoons I shower questioning my bad life choices all the while. So it depends. Have to shower every day though, at least once, sometimes twice.

I don't think I agree with anyone who says the extra time in bed is worth more than the shower.. Unlikely you're getting your REM sleep in those extra ten mins so the energy and freshness you get from a shower wouldn't usually be at the expense of extra rest.

Before bed, gotta be squeeky clean for snooze town.. i have friends who dont shower after rugby matches for days, sick sick lads.

Energy and freshness? Fresh, clean and relaxed perfect for bed.
Shower in the morning just means running out the door only half dry which feels mank.

I regularly shower both night and morning. Can't function for the day without a morning shower and if I have training or just to help me unwind I will have one in the evening.

    This.

I also find a hot shower/bath great for relaxing me at night.

In the morning when I am going some place (other than work), if not at night before I head out or after gym/football training.

can't believe that shower at night is ahead in the poll. lots of people on boards that I wouldn't like to be sitting beside in work.
normally shower twice a day myself anyways as a do a lot of sport / exercise.
wash the plumbing in the sink quickly at night at a push if necessary for performance reasons :)

Why? Its an absolute myth that someone will definitely smell if the have a shower the night before or even have a shower every second day.

Anybody in control of their senses can tell if they need a shower or not. How do you know the person you are sitting beside had a shower this morning?

It's only a dirty b*****d who would leave the house without showering.

Running out the door is the biggest problem with mornings.. I'm pretty bad with sleep but mornings are so much nicer with an extra 10 minutes to spare. I've become really anal about making sure I'm up earlier so I enjoy the morning more.

Night, ps I hate dogs that aren't trained properly by their owners, you should go to dog training too.

I'm about to leave the house without showering. I finished swimming at 9 o clock last night and showered after and I'm in the gym at 12.30 which I will shower after so I'm hardly going to have another one before I go.

Absolute and utter nonsense. Your brain has been conditioned to believe this, nothing else.

I hate getting up, really hate it. Regardless of how much good it is Id rather the few extra minutes in bed, aside from that I really don't like having to get into a shower in the morning and get out in the cold, have to dry myself....effort effort effort. Shower the evening before after exercise does the job fine and as I said not even necessary every single day imo if you have just been sitting in the office and gone home and sit down watching tv etc .

Wish the fella behind me on the luas would use either option, he's humming

Always shower in the morning. If I bring a broad home of a night I'll have a quick shower before getting noshed off. It's only good manners.

I wouldn't go into work without a shower in the morning! Even had to have a freezing cold shower a few times when problems with the hot water cos I wouldn't go to work without having a proper wash! I'd feel manky!

Plus the shower helps to wake me up in the morn.

I work at night so I usually shower then unless I'm off. If I'm doing something beyond lazing around the house all day, I might shower earlier and have another before work. I'd really like to be able to have on after work but I'm not sure my housemates would appreciate it at 4 in the morning.

I'm willing bet you sit by your puter all day in the same clothes you've been wearing all week and probably had your last wash at christmas.

    Every morning without fail.

If I'm going out in the evenings then I'll have another one just before I leave the house.

It depends I mainly have a shower in the morning but I always take so long in the shower so sometimes it's less time consuming to shower the night before instead. Sometimes twice again if I've been to the gym or heading out somewhere in the evening. If it's winter it's usually in the evening as it's too cold in the morning.
