Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I didn't bother going with an i7 when I was upgrading a few months ago with ARMA 3 in mind, looks like the i5-3570K will a good enough.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,799 ✭✭✭MiskyBoyy

Yeah I'm building with an i5-3570k. I think it's more than enough for any game for the near future!

    Can't wait

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 1,332 ✭✭✭desaparecidos

It's interesting to get the release date (even if it is an alpha) with only a weeks notice.

Sure beats waiting months or years!

Balls. My card will be fine but my i3 might struggle with this :(

In work too, cant seem to get in anywhere to buy it.

Clicking the price buttons does nothing.

Also, Kudos to BI for the fair pricing scheme. The US don't get a game cheaper for once !

No joy here either. Suspect the BI Store is experiencing something akin to a DDOS attack at the moment.

    lol:
We are sorry for the inconvenience but STORE.Bistudio.com is closed for maintenance. We will be back soon. For support please email store@bistudio.com

    2. Holo scopes are finally fixed (very end of the vid).
    3. No more deaths from grenade animations!

Did you buy through Steam or Bohemia?

All the links on the Arma3 site direct you to steam it seems. So probably steam :P

Not for real ArmA fans, I bought from the Bohemia Store, Supporters Edition. I have an email with a download link that doesn't work.

Wondering if it's load or an error.

Bought digi deluxe edition from steam, didn't have enough for supporters so that was the next best I could do.

    Hi all,
anybody feel like gifting me the Arma3 Lite invite? I felt burned by both Arma1 and 2 and want to try 3 before I buy. Thanks in advance!

Can you explain why you felt burned by the previous games?

I'm thinking you wont like 3 either if you didn't like the others.

WTF?, Arma 2 was epic. More than made up for Arma 1. It was buggy at first, but they stuck with it to fix it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 242 ✭✭HellboundIRL

I'm really liking it so far, gun sounds are decent, vehicle detail is good, movement is nice and physics are a welcome addition.

Also glad they finally fixed that getting into vehicle animation..

I doubt anyone would have an issue giving you a code, I'll put myself as first in the queue, assuming I actually get mine.

The all DLC's thing appeals to me, but how many DLC's did ARMA2 have?

Also, I wonder how my quad 9550 would fare with this? I assume it'd be okay?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,799 ✭✭✭MiskyBoyy

I just bought Arma 2: Complete Collection for €14.99 today on steam.
I'm currently building my first ever PC. Hopefully have it up & running by next Wednesday/Thursday depending on how fast Amazon ship me the parts.

Just wondering can anyone else spare an Arma 3 Alpha invite? As I'll be too broke to buy Arma 3 myself after all my recent purchases

    Also, enjoy this
