Sissoko scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.
Michu and Tioté were also amongst the goalscorers.

3-2 win for my reserves over Chelsea's first team. Delighted with that:D

FC Porto beat AC Milan 2 - 1 in their Friendly fixture.

Santon scored a goal and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

Van Wolfswinkel was also on the scoresheet for his side.


Mixture of young and back up players, happy with that.

Chivas de Guadalajara slumped to a 2 - 0 defeat to Palmeiras in their Friendly fixture.

Half expected it. Was testing a few new younger players. Take hope in the fact that while I had less possession, I had over twice as many shots, and 4 times mroe on target

I was surprised by that myself.

My two new signings got my goals which is a good sign.

I remember that Rossi was transfer listed and he had a set price, if I remember correct it was 15 million???? (Not 100% sure about this) but if it is the case then 14,500,000 and 2 PLAYERS!!!!!

The player was valued at 13.8 so I thought 15 seemed reasonable but the chairman wouldn't accept less than 18 million....

I agree with your valuation of Rossi, he is def a 15 million pound player (if not more!) but surely just Wickham would have covered the shortfall? or even the other player?
