Damien O Grady steered Newcastle United to victory against Los Angeles Galaxy.
Newcastle United beat Los Angeles Galaxy 1 - 0 in their Division 2 fixture.
Cissé scored the winner for Newcastle United and was later voted Man of the Match for his performance.

No mention to the fact you were blessed. Was chuffed with a 0-0 against one of the better teams in the league then Pappiss Cisse pops up in the 89th minute :(. Least I think it means I am getting more on track.

Eddy Mac steered Dortmund to victory against AC Milan.

Dortmund beat AC Milan 1 - 0 in their Division 1 fixture.

Weidenfeller had an impressive game and was voted Man of the Match.

Subotić was on the scoresheet for his side.

    Thats me upto second.

After their result against AC Milan, Dortmund are now unbeaten in 5 games setting a new club record for most games unbeaten in a row.

You know there's something wrong with your team when Van Bommel is your top goal scorer

Watch out, there will be broken legs!

The offer for Callum MCMANAMAN of Wigan Athletic from Zenit has been accepted. The transfer will be completed within the next 24 hours.

You're welcome to the little toe-rag, he'll turn a player with nasty streak/rep....

Lcky not to end haidara(?)'s career!

Once he gets a rating boost, which given the amount of game time he is getting I think he will

could i suggest the Mods create a separate spot for us?

we could have a thread for each individual division, one for transfer discussion, one for game result discussion etc

just there so much going on in this thread its hard to follow conversations and issues

    anyone?

I'd be one of the first to criticise a dirty player (joey barton etc) but regards that tackle, id give him the benifit of the doubt and call it over-exuberant until he does something like that again

How the hell there was no retrospective action taken though was beyond comprehension!! Yeah it may well have been youthful exuberance but it was career threatening none the less

I'm bias as a newcastle fan, but i didnt see over -exuberance, that tackle was visious no two ways about it ... he made no effort to pull out of the takle, went OVER the ball, barely clipping the ball ...

his evil grin walking off at 1/2 time made it worse!

oh, and joey barton isnt dirty, he is a tug!

edit: read origional post as 'shortlist', not 'transfer list'

I couldn't buy half of him so!!!!

After asking me for 30m for him, Liverpool went knocking on AJAXs door looking for Toby Alderweireld and offered 12m?!?

    Sturridge - 23 - 89 - valued 10.4m
    Alserweireld - 24 - 89 - valued 12m

Slight mismatch in valuations by Liverpool depending on which side of the deal they are on
