They'll bid on any players you put on the transfer list

If you put someone on the Transfer List, a random club will buy them eventually if no actual managers do

Plus unmanaged clubs often transfer with other teams as a way to try to update to real-life squads as much as possible

You should do it. Just quickly click through it if you already know the ropes, but it really is worth doing. (plus they give you a load of SM Credits for doing it, and you get some each day for logging in, so if you get the ones for the tutorial you'll be closer to affording the upgrades )
